Dear Darlene and Walt,
My husband and I wanted to thank you for such great hospitality and a wonderful experiance. Josh came to your clinics last monday (3/22/10). Walt you helped him so much, he walked away very inspired. I apreciate you letting me come to observe I too learned a lot and walked away inspired. I have only been roping a few weeks but I have been watching your videos with Josh for a few months. You have great techniques and teaching style. We went to a roping in Terrell on Friday and I took 2nd in the 6 pot. Josh took 2nd in the 8 pot. He focused on his timing and position and walked away a winner. I am hoping to be able to attend one of your clinics soon. Thanks again!!! Josh and Lisa Russum

In February 2010 me and my dad attended one of Walt Woodards roping clinics in Stevenville, Texas. I just wanted to say, I learned a great deal on handling cattle and that team roping on my level is not all about speed. When I went home and tried the new things I had learned; they worked making my percentages in completing runs go up significantly. The school paid for itself and made money at the first roping I went to 4 days after leaving. And I still have several things to work on in the practice pen. Mr. Woodard is a very good teacher and keeps trying new ways to explain things till you get it. The facilties, hospitality, and food were top of the line. And while present we felt like part of the family would recommend the clinic and I will be going back.
